Baseball season

It didn't turn out to be the best season for Vanessa who was playing coach pitch this year thanks to the rain. Shoshone didn't have a team at all this year so that was sad and ment less games but then one of their games was cancelled or had a bye week so she only got 2 games and the last game at home Richfield didn't show up so the kids played parents yep I played baseball since Ryan was coaching TBall. It was a lot of fun.
Vanessa is our little baseball superstar she loves the sport and is so good.
Trista at her first year of TBall she loved it but still dance is her thing lol
Daddy who is on first base giving Trista advice lol

Trista's BooBoo

Well Trista learned the hard way don't fight with poles :) She was done feeding the rabbits and came to see all of us moving the sheep pen and walked into a pole. This picture was taken a few days after it happened but she must not have learned she walked into it again the next day luckily not as bad. Poor kid has to be growing.

Happy Father's Day

Ryan had been wanting a new grill for years now and I kept telling him no wait the one you have now is working well a few months ago I decided to get him one and hid it in my mom's barn, wow forgot how much Ryan walks around my parents place and mom trying to remember to keep it out of his site.
Ryan with Natalia on their first fathers day together. He was soooo excited to go home and put it together.
Natalia helped daddy put it together. They even got rained on working on it.
Ryan's first BBQ on his grill...
Natalia helping my dad open his presents she had to make sure he opened his card from Mima :)

Vanessa 4H

I have been so worried Vanessa's lamb isn't going to be friendly enough in time for the fair (first week of Aug) so she has been walking her lamb "Butch" about 1 1/2 miles every day. Sam the spare lamb is just in the pen to keep Butch eating a lot. :) On this one day while Vanessa was coming home I noticed Vanessa had company my mom's bum lamb "jar-jar" (yes he has the big floppy ears) was walking with Vanessa also. I thought it was so cute. Vanessa is getting very attached to the lamb. She knows he will go to the Butchor (haha the name) after fair but she is loving it now and we don't talk about the sale much poor girl I remember those tear days. She is doing amazing though. So proud of her.
Vanessa walking Butch with Jar-Jar in the lead lol
So yesterday she had to wash her lamb good so that when Papa sheared her lamb it wouldn't get cut up. Well I told her to make sure she washes his belly also and turned around and this is what she was doing. My mom, Ryan and I couldn't quit laughing I have never washed a sheep like that. I thought for sure she'd get stepped on or peed on well neither happened he just sat there.
Butch getting his first spray :) Vanessa soon learned sheep shake like a dog she was as wet as the sheep was after this

Summer Fun

We are so enjoying the summer. There are so many things that we are getting done. We all have loved being in the sun and no rain.
Girls had a blast on the slip slide. Vanessa did great on it.
Trista looks like she is flying :)
So Ryan was telling the girls the rules and we all decided he had to try it first I really didn't think he'd do it because he wasn't dressed for the sport :) but he did it and had to try it again lol
Ryan having fun burning trash branches, etc...from the place.
Vanessa had to try on Ryan's glasses also
Trista in Ryan's glasses
Natalia started the fad of trying on Ryan's glasses so all the girls had to try them on.
Trista thinks its fun to make Natalia look like Dolly Parton poor little girl.
Doesn't Natalia look thrilled her big sister did this to her :) dang that Trista haha

4-H lambs

Last week Vanessa had her big first sheep weigh in. She was so excited when I went and picked her up from school and already had the sheep loaded in the truck to head to the fair grounds. Then she saw that Papa was there (if you know my dad he has to know what the sheep weigh for the year). She did great and her lamb was great also. Can't believe that my little girl is 8 and in 4-H. I remember my first 4-H also and thinking how neat it was that my dad sheared the sheep now Vanessa is there with her Papa.
Here are the girls and Ryan with their sheared lambs...Papa sheared them before everyone's so they will grow better. The actual 4-H shearing isn't till end of June.
Vanessa and her lamb Butch. We told her to start playing and loving with it and I caught her doing this...Butch weighed 81 pounds at the weigh in we were happy.
Trista being a great little sister and picking up all the wool for her sister.
Papa shearing Sam he is Vanessa's extra lamb in case somthing happens to her other...other wise at the end it will go back to my parents herd.
Papa shearing Butch. Vanessa loved "her sheep" getting sheared and my dad loved his new clippers that plugged in anywhere.

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to the cemetary here with my mom to put flowers on my Papa Bear's grave. It was so much fun to remember.
Ryan and the girls laughing because we are related to Pops (Lamar) even without Grams :)
Our 3 beautiful girls
I sat Natalia on the grass by the headstone and she climbed up there and wouldn't let anyone pick her up. She was so happy there. She sat there for like 15 minutes sooooo happy. We definatly know someone was keeping her happy.
