Trista turns 6

Well it is official and we still can't believe it our little "Peanut" Trista turned 6 a few days ago. We cannot believe how fast she has grown. After having Vanessa Ryan said he wanted a girly girl well he is in trouble and put his foot in his mouth and now has two lol. Trista would defiantly rather buy clothes and shoes than toys she loves shoes especially. Ryan says Trista has been good for me because she is so much like me in the attitude department but thankfully my mom says that I wasn't close to having as much attitude (as she laughs at us). She makes life so much fun though.
This was Trista just before going to school she was so proud that she was finally 6.
My mom does a fun thing for the girls on their birthday and does a treasure hunt with clues they love it. Well here is Trista in a skirt and snow boots on one of my mom's snow hills. No wonder my mom laughed when we walked in the house and Trista didn't have her snow clothes on.
Here are the girls. Vanessa reading the clues to Trista and Natalia.
She was so excited to get shoes it was funny. What a sweet heart she was and let Natalia try these on first sadly we deal with Natalia thinking these are her's now and Trista can borrow them.
Vanessa and Natalia got Trista a big box of chips because if anyone knows Trista she is always eating chips she loves them.
This is what Aunt Debbie Haynie got Trista she was so excited they were perfect.
Yes more shoes and these got even more surprise. What a girl :)
Grams & Pops got Trista this Weaving Loom she wouldn't go to bed till she finished her first one she even tried to sleep with it. So cute. She loves arts and crafts.
She was so proud of her daddy to get her "extra cheesy" goldfish her favorite...daddy got in trouble a few months ago for not getting "extra cheesy" so now he remembers what to get lol.
Precious picture of Ryan and Trista she is such a daddies girl.
Trista with her birthday presents (minus the ones Mima and Papa left out for the treasure hunt)
Ryan and Trista cutting the cake. She loves to serve.
This is the cake that we got for Trista for her birthday. This was so her...The shoe was a server and the flower a hair tie it was so cute.
She got her favorite meal for her birthday dinner...Steak, broccoli, and potatoes.

Only in Idaho

Only in Idaho do they think it is so funny to put the snow blower on the roof because it sounds like a great idea lol. What a couple of nuts. They had talked about it and to my surprise going outside to see what all the noise was and this is what I see.
Yep that is my hubby running it lol.

Christmas @ the Wildes

So here is Christmas @ The Wilde's house it was a lot of fun this year. Normally I ruin all of my surprises because I know what my parents are getting me. This year I have been way to busy to make many trips to Twin so Ryan knew a lot of what we were getting since he went a lot more than I did I'm not use to being surprised lol. I'll have to say I loved it.
My little brother even came home for the holidays from Washington.

Here is Ryan getting his guitar hero he was so excited well so were the rest of us we love it.
I was totally floored when I opened this and saw it was a Thomas Kincaid I couldn't believe it. I got 3 of them...Peter Pan, Snow White, and Pinocchio they are awesome he is defiantly one of my favorite artists. Thanks mom and dad!!!
Another of my favorite is Marie Osmond porcelain dolls how shocked I was to get one of her dolls. Well not knowing while I was watching one of her shows on TV my mom was listening to my favorites and ordered them how awesome. All 4 of us girls got her dolls. I got a Halloween one (our family loves Halloween) and Vanessa got a mini blue dress one and Trista got a big one (can't remember names) and Natalia got a set of 4 minis so awesome I LOOOOOVE them.
Here is our traditional picture at my moms with all of my family and my little brother in front of the tree.
Well this picture is traditional also but it use to be Tyler on my lap until he decided to grow up and thinks its great he's bigger than me. We still take the picture of him on my lap but you can't see me lol.
What a great holiday season it was :)

Christmas @ the Gates House

Wow maybe I should update this more :) It has been a very busy last few months. Ryan invited his parents for Christmas awhile ago and well they now live in their trailer in our yard :) I wasn't to sure how it would go but it has been really nice so far :) Its great having them around for kids events and everything else. They are truly loving it here its great.

Heres some Christmas pictures....
Vanessa, Teresa and Lamar going through their stockings Christmas morning.
This was Christmas Eve I read some of my favorite Christmas stories.
Christmas morning Vanessa was so excited because she got her bow and arrow that she had been wanting. She loves it.
Trista asked Santa for earrings and a necklace that she had seen and really wanted what a girl lol. I love it.
These were the girls getting to see what Santa brought them. Natalia was in awww of all the fun stuff.
Natalia loves to stack and so Santa brought her some stacking toys which she loves.
Mommy & Daddy got Natalia a fun toy...Ryan has the songs memorized already.
Vanessa painted these letters for Ryan
Yes Vanessa is like her mom and loves Twilight. I still haven't told her Ryan and I went and saw New Moon :) She can't wait to see it.
Trista loves to draw so Vanessa got her a drawing book.
Can't believe Christmas is gone and done and we are almost into February where did the time go? Things just go way to fast. We had a great Christmas tough. We got up and saw what Santa brought then we all went to my parents for presents and back home to open our presents it was a lot of fun.

Alligator Experience

As I was going through my posts I realized I hadn't posted these pictures. While at the Filer Fair this year they had an alligator show that we all thought was a lot of fun to see. Then after Mima and Papa surprised the girls by letting them get to go hold a baby alligator all I could think was gorse.
Vanessa thought it was the neatest thing ever. She likes all the creepy crawly things though. Shes like her dad in that area.
Trista wasn't to sure about the whole thing but if her big sister was doing it there was no way she wasn't going to.
My mom decided we needed a picture of Natalia with the alligator. Well she was holding Natalia at the time and when we got to the gate she handed her to me so I got up there hoping that she'd like the creepy thing but she wouldn't touch it and my mom wanted a picture so guess who got to hold it...yep me it was so gorse I hate this picture. My family still laughs and can't believe I really did it. Me either!

Halloween 2009

Halloween is always big at our house. You wouldn't believe the decorations that we have been collecting. This is Ryan's favorite holiday and it is showing. Next year he wants to do a spook ally so we'll see how that works out. My brother stayed at our house and handed out candy this year and had a lot of fun scaring kids.
Vanessa loved being Bat Girl and Trista being Cleopatra daddy did a great job picking out their costumes this year since I was to busy to do much shopping.
Ryan figured Trista would love to dress up pretty and have a wig and of coarse she loved it
Natalia just got a hand me down costume that all the girls had worn. What a cute little witch she makes.

Happy Birthday Vanessa

As I sit here I realize how busy our lives really have been the last few months. I haven't even had time to post updates on my blog. So my New Year goal is to get better at this. I can't believe that I haven't even posted Vanessa's birthday pictures...So here comes the update hope your ready lol...
October 17, 2009 was our last game for Wood River cheering. They had all the cheerleaders cheering it was a night game at the high school it was so much fun. The crowd was so loud it was awesome. Talk about cold though. They even announced on the loud speaker that it was Vanessa's birthday and got her all embarrassed it was great. Natalia loved being on the side lines with her sisters and I instead of with Daddy and Mima in the bleachers. It was a fun night.

The next day my mom was sick but still she was able to wrap Vanessa's presents and my brother helped her hide the gifts. They did a scavenger hunt. The girls love when Mima does this for them. They looked all over for their presents and reading clues it was so cute.

After she found them all it was time to open presents. Here is a picture of her holding one of her presents and if you look at Natalia she is choking a poor cat. The first couple of times I felt bad for the cat but it kept coming back to her to get tortured.
These were all her gifts from her scavenger hunt at Mima and Papa's house
Vanessa got a bead loom set from us she loves making jewelry so we figured she'd love it
While in Boise we found her this cute horse figure she loves horses so she was way excited about this.
Of all things for her birthday cake our 9 year old daughter wanted a hunting cake (I know Uncle Dustin is so proud :) ) She was so excited to see her cake. What kind of girl are we raising? lol that's ok her sisters make up for it with the girls stuff :)
Happy Birthday Vanessa!!!
