Fire Wood Trip

Well we got up early Saturday morning and went to the mountains. We have been trying all summer to get up there but hasn't been that easy with the new baby and trying to get things done for winter around here. So my dad had his camper up there and heater going for us girls when we got there so I was so thankful I had kids that day. Us 4 stayed nice and warm being a city camper in our trailer with the heater and tv and movies. Vanessa and Trista got to work on their homework and color and play while it was so cold.  It rained like nothing else that day and my wonderful hubby along with my parents and brother all were out working in it so that we could get a load of wood and get out of there. Poor Ryan he was soooo wet on the way home he couldn't get warm. But we were so happy to have that job over with that is for sure. We will definatly be warm this winter. :) I hate winter and being cold. I hope we don't have another winter like last winter. That was terrible.
Ryan at the creek by camp

the girls loved the sand by the creek so sad it rained so hard they didn't get to play in it my dad wants us to go back up so they can really play.
we had to take this picture of natalia (yes i look like a slob in my sweats but it was a long trip and cold) but we teased Dustin that we were going to name Natalia Lola when I was pregnate (if anyone has seen the movie RV you'll know his navigation system is named Lola thats what Ryan and my mom call theirs). We didn't think that Natalia knew the direction out was and their navigation system was always messing up so I figured Lola was a good name hahah and my parents said that is where they were I couldn't quit laughing.
We were leaving and I wondered where Trista was well she was found of coarse in the mud puddle her boots were soaked but she was having a blast
Here is Ryan on the load of logs they got out. My dad went up ahead of us and fell the trees and with my mom, brother and Ryan skidding logs out they got it out fast. They would of got two loads if it hadn't kept raining. After the first load my mom said "we are going home." So this load is going to be cut up this next week and put in our shed for our fireplace. I love my families business it would stink to have to pay for electricity all winter or buy wood.
