Fun in May

I just can't believe that the month of May is almost over. This next week is the last that our little girls will be in 2nd grade and PreK its so sad. Today was their last full friday of school. We are all so excited for summer though. Especially the Tball/Coach Pitch season to start (practice this next week). Girls and I have had so much fun planting flowers and being outside. We brought Vanessa's 4H lambs home from my parents yesterday that was fun. :p Lets just say Vanessa will have a lots of bruises if not already. My mom and I went in today and got our hair done. As of writing this Ryan hasn't seen it but I am sure he'll want to shoot me at how short it is lol. I don't care I love it. (I'll add pics when I get some). So Ryan had the girls today and he had to take care of some things so he got Vanessa from school and took all 3 kids to Twin. He has had a blast with them. He had them yesterday also because I had to tromp wool again. Yes I have done it more this month then the past 8 years. Gives me something to do and gives Ryan time to be mom. :) Here are a few cute pictures from the last few weeks...

Natalia's first little walk behind walker that turns into a little car. She was so excited to wake up Monday morning to a new toy that daddy put together at like 5am before he left for work.

She wasn't to excited about the car part and Vanessa couldn't get her to go on it but who knows what Trista did but she got her on it and she is hooked and loves to get on it and have her sisters push her around the house on it. She is so spoiled by those girls. She is getting so big. She is already 10 months.

My mom got tired of switching car seats from her car to mine so she got Natalia a car seat for her car. Natalia thought it was neat for like 5 minutes she is so ready to see where we are going instead of where we have been.

My mom called one morning and had me bring Natalia down to her house. She was out changing lines and found a baby kill deer and wanted to show it to Natalia. Well she looked and it was ok to look but when it jumped out of my mom's hands and onto Natalia she didn't like that she kicked it and it flew luckily my mom caught it. Poor little bird. 

I was lucky and my mom watched Natalia and I went on Vanessa's 2nd grade field trip we went to the planetarium in Twin and then had a pizza party and to Shoshone Falls (which Vanessa thought was funny we had just gone there the week before). The kids had 2 bake sales the past week and earned enough money to pay for their whole trip and the party I was so proud of them all oh and their slushies. We all had a lot of fun. 

I also wanted to add about Vanessa's track meet. This year (since she is one of the oldest in her class she had to run with the 99-00 kids which are 3rd and 4th graders) all her running counted and they took official times,etc... even though all the kids were a lot older then her (she was the youngest on the Carey 99-00 team, not everyone gets ribbons and places in her age group) she got 4th place in the softball throw for all of Blaine County. We were so proud of her. I think if she had placed 3rd she could of gone to state. She is excited to try next year. Congrats Vanessa!!!!

Mother's Day 2009

Yesterday was a perfect day. Ryan wasn't suppose to be home but they got done with their job and was home. My dad was home that morning so we got to see him. My mom had never been to Shoshone Falls so we decided to go. First I got some awesome gifts from the girls :) Ryan got me a new vaccum I had been wanting. It was so fun. The falls were beautiful had a great dinner after.

I forgot Ryan has been working with my dad tromping wool since some of my dad had workers head back to New Zealand. Well Saturday he ran into a problem with his computer business so I got lucky to go work with dad and took Vanessa. She did awesome being a sheep hearder. Ryan took my mom, Natalia and Trista. So Saturday was the longest I had been away from Natalia. She got home after us and she got the excited giggles when she saw me I loved it. They said she was better then Trista. I told dad I still remember why I am not a fan of sheep lol

Vanessa's Track Meet

Vanessa was suppose to have her track meet on Saturday but it was rained out. So they just did Carey time trials on Friday. Vanessa was so excited to finally have her track meet and was so excited her daddy made it because he wasn't going to make it he was working with my dad but they got done early. She did great.

Some Fun Things

We are still waiting for our nice warm spring weather. We did have a couple of days and we got ditches burned and some old trees taken down and burned but other then that it has been so cold, windy, snowing or raining we haven't been able to do much outside so far. Hopefully we get some spring. 

Trista made an egg carton catepillar at school and was so excited to show it to Natalia but Natalia wouldn't touch it she thought it was real. I wanted to get a picture of Trista with it but she wouldn't put Natalia down so we put her in the picture. You can see the look on Natalia's face...its fun but don't touch me. 

Ryan went outside one evening and noticed the girls were sitting outside just talking and eating snacks. He couldn't resist taking the picture. What a beautiful picture no neighbors yahhh.

So yes she does understand the word no very well actually and 80% of the time when I say No she smiles and does something else. Of coarse i was doing something else and she decided to make a big mess with the garbage bags and she just laughed when I found her.

For years everyone has complained about these willows because it's so hard for the roof to slip when it has snow on it with the willows there. So I called mom  one day and she brought her tractor down and her and Ryan pulled all the really big ones out. Yahhh I was so happy.

We decided this year we have tons of space we'll build a big garden. Never know what the economy is going to do. So mom and I had got loads of dirt into the spot we choose one day and cleaning the horse corral came in so nice here also. Then a wonderful guy from our ward "joe dilworth" came by unexpectedly with his tractor and tilled up our garden. It is all ready to plant yahhhh we were so excited. Can't wait to have things planted and watch them grow. 

Standing Up

What a big suprise to us when we were sitting at my mom's sometime the first of April and Natalia crawled over to a chair and stood up. She was so proud of herself. Now she is getting brave and every now and then she'll let go. She gets into way to much without walking we are in big trouble when she walks. She does understand no a lot better then the other kids though lol. She loves to say bye and wave at everyone. She tries to say Trista and Vanessa but it sounds a lot like Dada with a different tone for each girl. She says dad and momma also its so cute watching her grow. 

I'll have more pics of the other girls later. Vanessa is in Track and has a track meet next weekend she is so excited for. Then a couple days after that she is doing Basketball camp and then Baseball starts. On top of that she has Activity days twice a month but this month there was needed another so she'll have it three times. Trista was so excited to get her papers today to sign up for T-Ball this year. She can help not just be a helper. She can't wait. With that and Vanessa doing sheep for 4-H this year and Natalia turning 1 in July and Ryan and I's 10 year wedding anniversary in July we have a super busy summer already. Yahh!

Easter Day 2009

Yep Scary I know... Vanessa has been wanting her own BB gun for awhile. She's been using Mima's. She was so excited to get her own just like daddies when he was little. I wasn't sure about getting her one but I did use ours a lot when I was younger and we do live in the country better start small then with the rifles :) Thanks to her Uncle Dustin for teaching her to use it haha she's addicted :)

Easter Egg Hunt

Well the day before Easter my best friends family puts on the community egg hunt. So I was excited this year because I was terrible and forgot to go to the mall and get "bunny" pics so thankfully the bunny showed up at the park :)

The Hennefer Family missing a couple. My bestfriends family I grew up at there house when we were in school. We have been best friends since 3rd grade. I love this family. :)
